Olives, grapes and grains have always been known as the classic trio of foods that characterize Mediterranean cuisine. Olives and olive oil have been the subject of mythology, religion and the history of civilization. Today they are the symbol of the Mediterranean diet and our culture. This workshop will furnish you with an understanding of the culture of olive oil and you’ll learn how to distinguish between the oils available on the market today, starting from reading the label. The workshop will also include a lesson in olive oil tasting.
