ORGANIC SUNDAY | NATIONAL ORGANIC DAY

This year Bergamo will be the showcase for National Organic Sunday, an event to promote high quality organic products that are local and sustainable. Organic Sunday is a festive, activity-filled day offering the opportunity to experience and share the values of the world of organic and social farming. Not only will there be 60 exhibitors, a chance to have a vegetarian or vegan lunch and taste the many products for sale, but there will also be a full program of entertainment for all: the Nature Walk, with departure at 9:45 from Sentierone to Astino where you can enjoy the Valley of Biodiversity and have an “aperitivo” of organic products; Creative Workshops for adults and children; a journey filled with colors, flavors, and music thanks to the participation of many ethnic communities and, near the open air exhibition, an Indian village set up by the Spirit of the Planet. And for a performance not to be missed, in Astino at 11:00, the symphony orchestra “La nota in più”, whose members are all young people with autism or cognitive difficulties, will delight the audience with their musical repertoire. The ORGANIC SOCIAL FARMING TOURING EXHIBITION, presented by the Bio-District of Bergamo, will be on display at Spazio MAD food weekends in Via S. Alessandro, 39 – Bergamo.
